With the merger transition live on Friday, September 1, 2017, we hope to make this transition period as seamless as possible for you. Q: I have accounts at both WMCFCU & MCFCU. Will they become one?

If you have accounts at both WMCFCU & MCFCU, your member number with WMCFCU will transfer over to MCFCU. Therefore you will have 2 accounts at MCFCU. Eventually, MCFCU will want to consolidate them into one account. Also, please keep in mind that if your accounts total over $250,000, we can work with you to ensure all of your funds are insured. Any loans with WMCFCU will transfer to MCFCU.

Q: Can I still use my WMCFCU debit card?

The WMCFCU debit card will be deactivated on September 2, 2017 and you will no longer be able to use that card. You will be able to activate your new MCFCU debit card on Saturday, September 2, 2017. If you haven’t received your new MCFCU debit card in the mail, please contact a representative.
If you have automatic payments setup with your debit card, you will need to contact those merchants and provide them with your new debit card number.

Q: Can I still use checks for my WMCFCU checking account?

You may continue to use your WMCFCU checks to write checks from your checking account until December 31, 2017, however check images of your WMCFCU checks will not be available on virtual branch. If you would like to order MCFCU checks now, please contact the credit union. Please make sure that you order your MCFCU checks at your earliest convenience. After December 31, 2017, your WMCFCU checks will no longer be valid.

Q: Will my Direct Deposit / Payroll Deductions be affected?

If you have direct deposit or payroll deduction, your account will not be affected. Please verify your account when your direct deposit or payroll deduction is due and call the credit union if there are any problems.

Q: What will happen to my uChoose Rewards points?

Your uChoose Rewards point will be transferred to your MCFCU uChoose Rewards program. In order to receive the points from WMCFCU, you must register under Maui County FCU. You will lose your points if you do not register by December 31, 2017.

Q: Can I still access Home Banking online?

Your Home Banking and Audio Response (Teller Tone) services will not be affected. You will be able to use the same User ID and password to log in. You will need to go to the Maui County FCU website at to access the home banking site effective September 2, 2017. Until then, you can still access the West Maui Community FCU website at:

Q: What will happen to my monthly loan billing statement?

For members with loans, you will no longer receive a monthly loan billing statement. In August you should receive a loan coupon book in replace of your billing statement and then annually thereafter. Your loan history will appear on your regular account statement. No coupon books will be sent out if you currently do automatic transfers or payments through payroll deduction.

Q: Will anything happen to my Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance / Life Insurance?

Your AD&D and any Life insurance you may have through TruStage will not be affected by the merger and will transfer to MCFCU.
