In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’ll be supporting Maui Health Foundation's Kokua for a Cause campaign by raising funds for the third year in a row to help prevent breast cancer in women on Maui. Last year, because of the generosity of over 400 members and our efforts, we were able to raise over $5,000 to provide breast cancer screenings or other vital, life-saving procedures for women on Maui. Let's do it again this year!
September 1 - 30, 2022
Join us in raising food and funds for the Maui Food Bank along with the five other Maui chartered credit unions. We will be accepting donations of non-perishable food at our Lahaina and Wailuku branches. Items that are most needed are 5 lb. bags of rice, canned proteins (meat, tuna, beans), canned fruits and veggies, pasta, and cereal. Make a monetary donation here or text HICU5 to 71777. Donations ensure that keiki receive the nutrition they need; kupuna don't have to choose between nutritious meals and medications; and parents don't have to put paying for electricity ahead of feeding their families. With each dollar donated to the Maui Food Bank, they can provide 4 meals to hungry people on the islands of Maui, Molokai, and Lanai
