Maui County FCU's Solar Loan finances photovoltaic (PV) system installations up to $75,000, arranged through one of our participating local PV contractors. Our Solar Loans are designed specifically for members like you who want to reduce their electric bill and make a difference in the world.

Maui County FCU's Solar Loan finances up to $75,000 for your PV project, subject to approval.
Available for all types of PV systems, installed through one of our participating local contractors.
Choose terms up to 10 years , so you can weigh a lower monthly payment against paying less interest overall.
No prepayment penalty, so you can pay down the loan faster and keep more of what you'd otherwise spend on interest.

Solar Loan FAQs

Is there a minimum or maximum loan amount?

The maximum loan amount is $75,000, subject to approval.

Is the rate fixed or variable, and what term is available?

The rate is fixed for the life of the loan, similar to a Personal Loan, rather than adjusting over time. Terms of up to 10 years are available.

What do I need to qualify?

Maui County FCU membership.
Hawaii residency.
Work with one of the local PV contractors participating in Maui County FCU's loan program; systems installed by a non-participating contractor aren't eligible.
Credit and underwriting approval.
