Maui County Federal Credit Union is looking for a Member Care Specialist to provide exceptional service and support to members through our non-branch service channels—phone, email, chat, and mail. This role ensures members receive timely and accurate assistance with their accounts, digital banking, and everyday financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding service across phone, email, chat, and text channels, providing accurate information and assistance.
Support members with transactions, account maintenance, debit/credit cards, ACH, wire transfers, bill pay, mobile deposit, and online banking.
Troubleshoot and resolve member issues, escalate when needed, and ensure inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Perform back-office support such as address changes, return mail, CD-related tasks, fraud investigations, verification of deposits, dormant accounts, levies, garnishments, and IRA distributions.
Educate members about alternative delivery channels and digital services to improve convenience and strengthen member relationships.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and member experiences, recommending innovative solutions.
Uphold the Credit Union’s values by providing confidential, accurate, and professional support in all interactions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; credit union or loan experience preferred.
Knowledge of credit union products, services, and systems.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and core processing systems.
This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Member Care Supervisor.
