This year’s International Credit Union (ICU) Day theme is “Cooperation for a Prosperous World” - a reminder that when we work together, our communities thrive. To celebrate, we’re supporting local businesses and giving members of our Maui community a chance to win!

Enter our ICU Day Giveaway on Instagram by sharing why you love your credit union (it doesn’t have to be Maui County FCU) and tagging two friends. Extra entries for each additional comment with another reason you love your credit union or two additional friends tagged.

From Friday, October 3, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. HST through Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. HST, you can join in the celebration. Three winners will be selected at random on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 and announced leading up to ICU Day on Thursday, October 16, 2025.

Each winner will receive:

  • $25 gift cards to local Maui favorites: Momona Bakery & Coffee Shop, Stillwell’s Bakery & Cafe, and Coffee Attic

  • A limited-edition 20oz Yeti tumbler in Big Wave Blue

 

OFFICIAL RULES

  • Eligibility. Open to individuals 18 years or older who reside on the island of Maui. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Employees of Maui County Federal Credit Union (MCFCU), its subsidiaries, affiliates, and immediate household members are eligible.

  • How to Enter (Instagram).
    a. Follow @mauicountyfcu on Instagram.
    b. Like the International Credit Union Day giveaway post.
    c. Comment on the giveaway post between October 3 - October 10, 2025 (HST) and share why you love your credit union (any credit union) and tag two friends in the same comment.

  • Extra Entries. Each additional, unique comment that includes (i) another reason you love your credit union or (ii) two additional friends tagged will count as one extra entry. Please do not tag the same friends repeatedly. Multiple tags in a single comment count as one entry.

  • Entry Limits/Content. Comments must be your own, appropriate, and compliant with Instagram’s terms. Do not tag brands, celebrities, or fake/spam accounts. Maui County FCU may disqualify entries deemed inappropriate or noncompliant.

  • Winner Selection and Odds. A random drawing from all eligible entries will be conducted by MCFCU on October 14, 2025. Three (3) winners will be selected. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

  • Prizes. Each winner will receive:

    • One (1) $25 gift card to Momona Bakery & Coffee Shop

    • One (1) $25 gift card to Stillwell’s Bakery & Cafe

    • One (1) $25 gift card to Coffee Attic 

    • One (1) limited-edition 20oz Yeti Rambler cup

Prizes are not redeemable for cash, non-assignable, and non-transferable (except to a surviving spouse). Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, if applicable. MCFCU reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

  • Winner Notification/Claiming Prize. Winners will be notified via Instagram Direct Message from @mauicountyfcu and/or via a comment reply. Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification. Prizes must be picked up at MCFCU’s Main Office (Kehalani Village Center) within 14 days of notification unless otherwise arranged. If a winner does not respond or is ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

  • Publicity & Permissions. By entering, you grant MCFCU the right to use your name, Instagram handle, likeness, and entry content for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

  • General Conditions. MCFCU is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries; technical, network, or platform issues; or any injury/damage resulting from participation or prize use. MCFCU may cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the promotion, as determined by MCFCU in its sole discretion.
