Making Merry Memories
We are excited to reflect on another joyful and meaningful Holiday Fair as Maui County Federal Credit Union hosted our Second Annual Holiday Fair this December. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Holiday Fair continued to grow, bringing together members, local entrepreneurs, and families to celebrate the season while supporting our community.
Held at our Main Branch Community Room, this year’s event expanded to showcase 15 member-owned small businesses, offering handmade gifts, local treats, and one-of-a-kind items perfect for holiday shopping. Festive fun filled the space as keiki and families enjoyed photos with Santa and the Grinch, adding extra smiles and holiday magic throughout the morning.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all the participating vendors who shared their time, talents, and creativity with our community. Your passion and dedication are what made this event such a success, and we are proud to help spotlight the amazing businesses owned by our members, including:
A heartfelt mahalo as well to everyone who generously donated non-perishable food items to benefit the Maui Food Bank. Thanks to the kindness of our members and community, we collected an impressive 247 pounds of food, helping support local families during the holiday season and reinforcing the true spirit of giving.

While Maui County Federal Credit Union does not currently offer business accounts or business loans, we remain deeply committed to supporting our members in meaningful ways. Hosting the Holiday Fair is one way we do that—by opening our Community Room as a welcoming space for member-owned businesses to connect with the community, gain exposure, and build lasting relationships.
“The Holiday Fair is a wonderful example of the people helping people philosophy in action,” said Michele Kawahara, President & CEO. “By opening our doors to member-owned businesses, we’re proud to help shine a light on local entrepreneurs, strengthen community connections, and support those who make Maui such a special place to live and shop local.”
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and helped make our Second Annual Holiday Fair such a memorable success. We look forward to continuing this tradition and celebrating the creativity, generosity, and community spirit of Maui for many years to come.
