Wrappily Provides Wrap for The Salvation Army Angel Tree Gifts

December 1, 2020

Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii – Maui County Federal Credit Union (FCU) announced a new addition to its partnership with The Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Maui-based company, Wrappily, will be donating environmentally friendly gift wrap for all Angel Tree gifts donated at Maui County FCU locations to help rescue Christmas for keiki and kūpuna in need on Maui.

“Wrappily is happy to support The Salvation Army Angel Tree program during this season of giving. We believe that sustainability also means taking care of the people in our community,” shares Sara Smith, Wrappily founder. “Our hope is that that fun and festively wrapped gifts will brighten the holidays for keiki and kupuna alike. Because everyone should experience the happiness of unwrapping gifts on Christmas.”

“We are excited to have Wrappily come on board this year,” said Lt. Steven Howard, Corps Officer and Maui County Coordinator for The Salvation Army. “Providing wrapping for parents to be able to wrap their kids’ gifts is so much more meaningful for families and ensures that kids will have the joy of unwrapping presents on Christmas Day.”

Through December 12, 2020, individuals can pick-up an Angel Tree Tag from any Maui County FCU branch, purchase the requested gifts, then return gifts unwrapped to the same branch with the Angel Tree tag, and Wrappily will provide wrapping for the gift. Angel Tree tags can be picked up and gifts dropped off at Maui County FCU branches during business hours. Branches are located at 270 Dairy Road in Maui Marketplace in Kahului, 270 Lahainaluna Road in Lahaina, and 1888 Wili Pa Loop in Wailuku.
