When can I activate and use the card that I received in the mail?

You can activate and use your new card beginning May 22, 2022.

Will I need to update automatic and reoccurring online payments?

Yes, you have been issued a new credit card number, so all automated online payments will need to be updated. Please refer to the email sent to you on May 23, 2022 for a tool that can help you update all your default payment methods at one time.

Why can’t I see my credit card information online anymore?

While we are testing to ensure that your credit card information is pulling ad displaying accurately, you will not be able to view your prior or current credit card information online or via the MCFCU mobile app. This information should be available by June 1, 2022.

How can I pay my credit card bill while online banking is unavailable?

You can email Credit Card Support and we will process payments on May 25th effective the date payment received. Starting May 25th, payments can be accepted in branch

How can I access my credit card information online?

You will be able to access your credit card information, setup notifications and alerts online, and more, when online testing as been completed by June 1, 2022. An email notification will be sent to members when it is available.

Is there an app available to access and manage my credit card?

Yes, the “MCFCU Visa” app should be available for download from the Apple App and Google Play stores by June 1, 2022. An email notification will be sent to members when it is available.

What features will the online application have?

    • Real-time transaction history and transaction filtering
    • View credit card balances, available credit, minimum due, due date and payment history
    • Export and print transactions
    • Pay my credit card bill – same day and future dated payments
    • Automatic payments – minimum due, statement balance, other amount
    • Enroll, view and print electronic statements
    • View statement summary
    • Report a lost or stolen card
    • Initiate a dispute
    • One-time password by SMS and Email

Can I transfer balances from my other credit cards?

Yes. In addition to keeping your current credit card terms, you can do a balance transfer from another credit card with 0% interest for 18 months (3% transfer fee, with a minimum $5) by August 31, 2022. Please call 808-856-3110 to take advantage of this offer.

When can I begin redeeming my reward points?

Your Uchoose Reward points that transferred over to your new card and your CU Rewards points will be available for redemption starting June 1, 2022.

Will I be able to add my card to my mobile wallet?

You will be able to add your card to your Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay mobile wallet in mid-June. An email notification will be sent to members when it is available.


Why am I being mailed a new credit card?

Maui County FCU has partnered with a new credit card processor that will be able to provide you with contactless credit cards and upgraded benefits.

When will I receive my new card in the mail?

In mid-May you will receive your new contactless, Visa credit card.

When will I be able to use my new card?

The new card cannot be activated or used until May 22, 2022, so do not destroy your current card until after your new card is active.

Will my new card have a new number?

Yes, your new card will be issued with a new number and you will be able to activate it starting May 22, 2022. If you have any pre-authorized or recurring charges (gym membership, insurance, subscription services, cable, utilities, streaming services, etc.) on your card, you will need to update those merchants with your new card number.

When will my current card be deactivated?

Do not use your old MCFCU credit card after May 21, 2022. Transactions will be denied.

Is there only one type of credit card available?

There are three types of credit cards available: 1) cash back rewards, 2) premier with a low interest rate and 3) secured.

What type of credit card will my current Maui County FCU credit card be converting to?

All existing Visa credit cards will be automatically converted to a cash back rewards credit card.

Will the terms of my credit card change?

No, you keep your existing credit card terms.

Can I do a balance transfer from other credit cards?

Yes! You can also do a balance transfer with 0% interest for 18 months (3% transfer fee, with a minimum $5) by August 31, 2022.

Can I still redeem UChoose Rewards points?

The deadline to redeem UChoose Rewards points and purchase items on the existing site is May 19, 2022.

Will I lose my UChoose Rewards points?

No, you will not lose them. They will be transferred to your new card. Our new program has even more items and rewards to use in the future. Your points will be available on May 23, 2022. However, you will not be able to redeem points until about a week after the conversion date.

When will the transferred UChoose Rewards points expire?

All UChoose Rewards points will expire in three years on May 22, 2025.

What is the new rewards program?

The new rewards program is called CU Rewards and it can be previewed here.

Has the payment mailing address changed?

Yes, please mail payments attn: Maui County Federal Credit Union to P.O. Box 60510, City of Industry, CA 91716-0510. Or you can also make payments through our online banking, through the MCFCU app or at any branch.

Will I be able to add my new card to my mobile wallet?

Stay tuned for a notice in June to be able to add your new card to Apple, Google and Samsung Pay for an extra layer of security and to have your card wherever and whenever you need it.

If I setup Bill Pay to pay my credit card, do I need to do anything?

Yes, if you pay your credit card bill by Bill Pay, update it with the new address: P.O. Box 60510, City of Industry, CA 91716-0510

If I have reoccurring merchant payments with my credit card, do I need do anything?

Yes, be sure to update merchants with automatic, reoccurring payments such as any online subscriptions, your gym or home utilities, with your new card.

How do I set up a PIN for my new card?

If you need a PIN for your credit card, please call 888-886-0083.

Will I need to reestablish alerts and notifications on my new card?

Yes, you will need to reestablish alerts for your new card beginning May 22, 2022, as your existing alerts will not be converted. You can do so by:

    • Logging into online banking at at the top, right.
    • The first time you will need to register. Enter your name and email address.
    • Click Submit to continue to your credit card information homepage.
    • Click Member Alerts from Quick Links area or the Communications tab.
